Although there are exceptions to every rule, for the most part (and I say this from my experience with myself and in helping many people here) if the struggling man/woman (though its more true with men) cannot give up watching TV/secular Movies they are almost doomed to faliure.
The triggers in the visual media of today are simply too many to be able to "tune out" without totally tuning out the TV/movies.
My dear brothers and sisters, warriors of Hashem, holy Neshamos...
...You have come so far. You have made so much progress. Why throw it all away for the stupidity of TV? Why risk falling back into the old world for the vanity of hollywood?
If mashiach would walk into your home today... would your TV still remain there?
if he walked in while you were watching a movie, would you say to him "hey, I gotta pass the boredom"?
If he called you onthe phone would you tell him to "chill out, it's the 21st century"?
I don't think any of you holy Tzadikim would!
Well, we are so close...
We can smell him!
We can hear his footsteps!
We can see the signs!
He is lingering, because he is waiting for more of Am Yisroel to "wake up" and rid their lives of TV, Movies, profanity, Pritzus, etc.
The quicker we do this, the quicker he will come. It's pure and simple.
If we, the members of this holy forum, will not be the first ones to comply with what Hashem wants, can we expectthe rest of the world to do it?
We are leaders!

As Moshe Rabeinu proclaimed all those years ago "Mi Lashem Eilay"- whoever id for Hasshem come to me!

fill in the blank with something, be it TV altogether, be it one less hour a day, be it no more movie theaters, be it no more movies at all, be it no more vulgar radio shows.....whatever you sacrafice is a Korban to hashem that will strengthen yourself as well as the rest of Klal Yisroel!
Do it for yourself, for your family, for your Guard Your eyes family, for HASHEM, master of the world!
