Here's a new song by Uri, inspired by Momo's Journey...

CLICK HERE to download the MP3 file.

The Fall

I’m broken
I’m feeling down
Hashem my love
nowhere to be found

I try to stay strong
but I just fall again.
When will the day come
when this nightmare will end?

My son my son
I’m right here by your side!
Why would I go
And why would I hide?

Do you think I'd leave you
when you need me most??
My child I love you
says the heavenly Host.

Walking down the road
my heart is torn.
Why can't I be good?!
And stop watching porn?!

There surely must be
a special place for me in hell.
It's the forth time already
this week that I fell.

My son my son
Please pick yourself up
Why do you beat yourself??
Enough is enough!

I gave you the hardest mission
this'll take a bit.
But it'll never get done
if yourself you always hit.

Hashem must be so mad at me
I say to myself
I keep breaking my word
Hurting my neshama’s health.

Will I ever be clean
Will I ever be good?
When will I be perfect
Always doing what I should??

My child did you not listen
When I said you were my son.
Does a father leave his child?
You are my only one.

The test I gave
Takes a lifetime to fulfill.
My son please have some patience
You’ll make it, yes you will.

Uri, Guard, I had an idea and I'd like your feedback. It's more of a vision.

What if you professionally record these songs on a CD, printed out a jacket with the words and a one page blurb about GYE. We then produce and distribute the CDs for free (donations needed) to spread our word. I've seen plenty of CDs given out for free for much less worthy causes.

Is this project too big for us? Uri, Guard, would this interest you?

wow. uri, i know i said this before, but you're AWEsome!!!
and i think mom's idea is great, but it would take a lot of planing. and there is the problem of words like p*** and m*********, which i'm not so sure people would want to have in their cd cases.
but i still think it would be a great idea.
and Uri- since i walk around my house singing your songs and humming the parts i can't say out loud- i don't think i'm sick of you yet ;) KUTGW!

Eh, Habib, I'm not your Mom. I'm a guy. 7UP is everyone's Mom.  :)
I know, probable a typo. "mom", "momo", what's the difference?  :)
I forgot about those "special" words. Hmm, we'd have to work on that.
I'm serious about the idea, though. Once Guard and Uri think about it over the weekend, I'd like to hear what they think.

Right on Habib,

I was laughing my head off trying to visualize me walking around my house wife children & all singing Uri's Beautiful songs without bleeping any of the words.

My wife giving me this Horrid looks while calling a psychiatrist trying to find the earliest appointment available for me.

My kids asking me Hey, Totty, Whats that word again you just sang? I never heard that one before! Is that English, Yiddish, Hebrew or what?

Well kids it is actually FRENCH! lol

Hey Uri,
We should get in touch. I'm also a 20 year old guy, and I've been dealing this since age 12. With the help of this forum (I came here in November 08) I have been making great strides in this area. I have a thread in the wall of honor forum which I've (sadly) not been posting in lately, so it's likely on the second page. I greatly admire the fact that you are able to put yourself into a song, and then have the courage to share it with anyone who may listen to it. I think that says a lot about how much you want to win this war. I wouldn't worry about it too much. After listening to your songs I can honestly say that if ANYONE can do this, YOU can. Thanks for the chizuk!!
I guess it comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy living, or get busy dying.
