Hey Guys & Gals,

CLICK HERE for another song/story that the new GuardYourEyes musician, Uri, sent me today!

A Story

Down below in this world we are in,
there is a boy whose about to sin.
But at the last second he runs outside.
He hides in a corner and he starts to cry.

How much longer can there be of this,
it's so very hard for me to guard my bris.
Where is G-d when I need him most of all?
Why do I feel like I'm speaking to a wall?

Up above in the world full of light,
the malachim stare down with awe at this sight.
Hashem has a smile looking down at his son,
my boy im so proud,a job so well done.

But down below things are not so known,
the boy feels so sad.He feels so alone.
"This test no more feel I can take"
he yells while his body is starting to shake.

"Hashem!",he cries why do you make it so tough?!
I feel like my heart has had quite enough.
Do you even notice when I give it my all?
Hashem where are you?Im about to fall!!

In shamayim they are starting to cry
they really cant help it when they hear his sigh.
Hashem our G-d please put a stop to this
this tzaddik has more than proved his worthiness.

But his loving father knows whats best for his son,
and with a shaking hand sends another test down.
The yetzer hara creeps up on his prey,
while the unsuspecting boy goes through his day.

Suddenly he feels a need to act out,
he turns to shamayim and starts to shout out.
HASHEM!You know what I really want to do,
But I wont do it,because I love you.

A commotion takes place up above.
It is now very clear that the angels are in love.
In whose zchus was this one born,
this mortal man who takes the heavens by storm??

Hashem sits on his throne,proud as can be,
as he watches the angels jump up and sing.
He says to himself with a smile on his face,
if only my boy knew what he does to this place.

Dear precious Uri,

David Hamelech could have never wrote the beautiful songs in Tehillim if he hadn't been running from so many enemies, and struggling with so much suffering throughout his life. Indeed, through the darkness comes the most beautiful light...

And Klal Yisrael is Zoche today to Uri's own personal Tehillim songs to Hashem, resulting from his struggles with the forces of evil and darkness.

Uri, if only you knew what you do to this place!

I think that a magic spell fell upon E.L.

Now that he hit 90 days, he can't write any more with out rhyming! How beautiful is that?  ;D

Here's my favorite poem (I made it up myself when I was about 14):

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Some poems rhyme
This one doesn't.

I am beginning to wonder the same thing.

I was driving home tonight and I found myself humming Uri's first song.  And now already another one.

Im sorry that im not posting in this thread,but i feel any more gaavah would destroy anything i might have gained through writing these songs.my regular posts continue though in where im at. -uri

You are very precious. I got goosebumps hearing your second song. Absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for writing it and sharing it with us.

I hope you realize by now that even though you may rise and fall, your neshama, your essence, is very special. Never ever forget this no mater how low you may ever fall, C"V. The real Uri is the one writing and singing these songs; the Uri that acts out is the fake one. Read these words again, especially after you fall, if that ever happens, C"V.

The "high" you are on right now (assuming you aren't like this always) is a gift from HaShem, showing you your potential how you could live your life in the long term. It is a gift to give you a derech haChaim to aspire to, and show you that you CAN reach such heights, that it IS possible! 

A lot of people in this world don't know what their strengths are. You are lucky, it's obvious to us what one of your strengths is: When you open your heart, especially through music, you have the gift to touch other people's hearts.
